Patience is the companion of wisdom.
A prudent question is one-half of wisdom.
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
Every man is a damn fool for at least five minutes every day; wisdom consists in not exceeding the limit.
We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future.
George Bernard Shaw
Today’s tip is as much for myself as anyone else. I seem to have slacked off in my writing. Slacked off is actually putting it mildly. I haven’t written anything in months. Not a poem, a chapter, a page, nothing, nada! Why? Put it down to pure procrastination. I have gotten caught up in the world of online gaming at pogo.com. Yes, I am addicted to scrabble online. I started out by saying that it was justified because I was exercising my mind and building my vocabulary. Now I realize I have used it as another excuse to put off trying to finish my novel.
Why? Oh, well its that old bugger-bear, fear of failure. If I don’t finish it, I can’t submit it, and can’t get rejected.
So, what am I going to do? I am officially grounding myself from pogo! Or at least limiting myself to one game of scrabble a day! lol!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay awhile, make footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same.
